Peter Welz 
studied 1993-1995 at the National college of art and design in Dublin and at the time of 1995-1998 at Chelsea School of art in London.
In the year 2003 he was the artist in residence at the Irish museum of Modern Art in Dublin and was the recipient of the Else-Heiliger-scholarship of the Konrad-Adenauer-foundation.

one of the worldwide most renowned art prizes,
the Association for the Promotion of Modern Art Goslar,
Responsible Association for the leadership of the Mönchehaus museum

awards the emperor ring scholarship.
